The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles.The ideal candidate:Arrives on time and is dependable.Takes pride in their workmanship and pays attention to detail.Works efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.Has experience with engine diagnostics and troubleshooting.Can accurately read and follow electrical wiring diagrams.Has strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Owns and maintains a comprehensive set of professional automotive tools.Understands the importance of quality, safety, and doing the job right the first time.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostics using advanced tools, electrical systems, and schematicsRepair and maintain vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and electrical componentsComplete routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, inspections)Interpret technical manuals and ADAS dataPerform suspension workDiagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, A/C, electrical, and computer systemsUse shop equipment (diagnostic machines, alignment systems, welding tools, etc.)Ensure all work meets safety and quality standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work bayCommunicate effectively with service advisors, teammates, and customers regarding repair status and technical diagnosesParticipate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technologyRequirements:Minimum 3–5 years of automotive mechanic experienceMust possess and maintain a personal set of tools required for automotive diagnostic, maintenance, and repair workStrong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systemsValid driver's license with insurable recordMust be at least 18 years oldWilling to complete a pre-employment drug testAbility to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying conditionsASE certification (A/B/C level) or equivalent experience preferredVocational/Technical degree preferred (or equivalent experience)Strong attention to detailTeam-oriented with professionalism and strong communication skillsThis position is best suited for someone who:Takes responsibility for their work and approaches challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.Is ready to stay focused and productive throughout the workday.Takes pride in producing quality work rather than taking shortcuts.Is properly equipped with the tools necessary to perform professional automotive repairs.Benefits:Paid training and on-the-job training401(k) plan with company matchPaid vacation, PTO, and holidaysMedical, dental, life, and AD&D insurance (available after 90 days)Opportunities for performance-based incentivesWhy Work HereFounded in 1986, Eagle Auto & Fleet Service Center has grown from a local fleet repair shop into a trusted full-service facility serving both individual customers and corporate fleets.
