Logistics Compensation $700.00/day Job Type Contract freelancer Description Average $700 per full route day + fuel surcharge* Local routes, typically 100–150 miles and 7–12 stops/day, with no OTR Steady volume Monday–Saturday for contractors who want to keep their trucks busy Weekly settlements and driver-only routes No flatbed? Rental available through RAS Must have a Class A day cab, LLC, and DOT/MC authority What You Need Your own LLC or other legal business entity Active USDOT number and MC authority, or the ability to obtain them Required insurance: auto liability, general liability, umbrella/excess, cargo, and workers' comp or occupational accident coverage as applicable Ability to meet DOT and FMCSA safety and qualification requirements Preferred Forklift experience (Moffett/truck-mounted forklift is a plus) Building materials or job-site delivery experience The Work Haul building and home improvement materials on flatbed equipment Deliver to customer homes and job sites Secure loads to DOT standards Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and delivery paperwork Why Contract with RAS Consistent freight for a major home improvement retailer Long-term business relationship opportunities Bring your truck.
