Job Description

Know compressors? Like troubleshooting? Want to be the person who makes sure the equipment is ready before it hits the field?
Midwest Compressor Systems is looking for a Compressor Technician - Testing & Commissioning to join our Manufacturing team.
This isn't just a “watch the gauges” job. You'll set up, start, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and test gas and electric compressor systems before they leave our facility. You'll work with pressures, temperatures, flows, vibration, instrumentation, and performance data to make sure our equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for the customer.
We're looking for someone who has:

Build it. Test it. Prove it. Send it to the field ready.
If you know natural gas compression and take pride in getting equipment right before it goes to the customer, we want to talk to you. Apply today to join Midwest Compressor Systems.
Requirements:Experience with natural gas compressors, engines, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to safely operate, monitor, and test compressor equipment.
Basic knowledge of pressure, temperature, instrumentation, and controls.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and test procedures.
